Beyond Borders UK is committed to safeguarding the rights of all individuals to live safely and free from abuse and neglect. We believe everyone should be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
We will:
Promote the right of every individual to live free from harm, abuse, or exploitation.
Recruit staff and volunteers safely, with appropriate checks and training.
Provide safeguarding guidance and training to our team.
Respond promptly to any safeguarding concerns, ensuring dignity and safety are prioritised.
Report incidents appropriately and work with statutory agencies where required.

We are in the process of appointing a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), and this policy will be updated once the role is in place.
This policy is reviewed regularly and updated in line with UK safeguarding laws and guidance.
